Their little world is a big deal.
Littlebird brings the people and characters your child loves to life, in a real, two-way phone call.
- Garbage Truck Driver
- Tooth Fairy
- Firefighter
- Pilot
- Zookeeper
- Toy Shop Worker
What it is
A child is obsessed with garbage trucks. The driver rings to say hello.
A toy is sold out and nobody can explain why. A wobbly tooth turns up. A first plane trip is coming and it is frightening. Littlebird lets you arrange a phone call from exactly the right person, and they have a real conversation with your child — one your child can interrupt, ask four hundred questions in, and lead wherever they like.
It is not something your child operates. You start every call, you decide what gets said, and you end it whenever you like.
How it works
Tell Littlebird what's going on
In your own words. "She's obsessed with garbage trucks and waits at the window on bin day."
Check what we're passing on
You see exactly what the character will be told, and nothing else reaches them. Edit it, or start again.
Hand over the phone
Call them, or have them ring you. Afterwards you choose whether anything is worth remembering for next time.
The part we care most about
Littlebird is built to be kind. Characters never threaten, never shame and never frighten a child into behaving. They never link presents or affection to good behaviour, never encourage secrets from a parent, and never ask a child for an address, a school or a photograph.
They also never replace you. If a child says "Mum won't let me", the answer is always some version of "then I'll leave that one with her" — never an argument, and never a lecture about listening to your parents.
The voices are computer-generated. Your child hears a character; you should know it is a computer bringing them to life, using only what you have chosen to share. We say so plainly in the app too, before you ever make a call.
